Job Purpose
The position exists to support the overall strategic business objectives of the School through the provision of comprehensive and holistic Human Resources and Administration services and implementation of Human Resources programs designed to attract, develop, retain and manage quality performing staff.
· Develops and recommends organisational structures that drive the business strategy to ensure unlocking of stakeholder value.
· Participates in the school performance reviews, capture the strategic issues to be followed up on behalf of the Principal.
· Oversees the formulation and compilation of Human Resources budget in liaison with Finance Manager for adequate planning.
· Processes the executive payroll and ensure executive staff are paid what is due and motivate performance.
· Implements HR information systems to within the organisation to facilitate achievement of objectives.
· Carries out investigation of disciplinary and grievance cases and participating in hearings in an advisory capacity and ensure all procedures are adhered to.
· Guides recruitment processes and participate in the selection of suitable staff for vacant positions to ensure the best capable candidates are engaged.
· Formulates the development and review of Human Resources policies and procedures that support the corporate strategy.
· Develops staff welfare programs that will also include provision of accommodation and transport services hence facilitating management and staff to concentrate on their work operations
· Implements, monitors and reviews the performance management system and adapt the most conducive system that will allow improved performance.
