Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive loss prevention policies and procedures tailored for agro-processing operations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits across production, storage, and distribution points to identify vulnerabilities.
- Analyze incident reports and loss trends to recommend preventive measures.
- Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures to minimize loss exposure.
- Oversee the physical security of all company facilities (factories, warehouses, farms, offices, etc.).
- Liaise with security service providers and manage security personnel performance.
- Ensure installation, maintenance, and monitoring of surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms, access controls).
- Develop emergency response plans for fire, theft, sabotage, and natural disasters.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, industry, and company regulations on safety, security, and loss control.
- Lead investigations into losses, thefts, fraud, accidents, or other security incidents; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective action.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and relevant authorities as necessary.
- Develop and deliver loss control, safety, and security training programs for staff at all levels.
- Promote awareness of loss control policies and procedures among employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Review and improve internal control systems, warehouse management, and logistics procedures to prevent losses.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain security and asset protection.
- Prepare regular reports on incidents, risk status, and effectiveness of loss control initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of audits, investigations, and compliance checks.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management
- Professional certification in loss control, security, or risk management is an added advantage
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in loss control, risk management, or security, preferably in agro-processing, FMCG, or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques, physical security, and audit processes.
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety (OHS) and compliance standards.
