Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.
- Manage the IT budget and ensure cost-effective technology investments.
- Establish IT policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee the maintenance, upgrading, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of factory systems
- Manage data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
- Administer servers, databases, and business applications.
- Ensure high availability of systems and services through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Provide end-user support and training across departments, ensuring optimal usage of IT systems.
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
- Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations and internal controls.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Lead IT projects including system upgrades, integrations, and new technology rollouts.
- Manage relationships with external IT service providers, vendors, and consultants.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies for continuous improvement.
- Supervise and mentor the IT team.
- Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and support team development.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
