Provide historical financial data and analysis to support decision-making and assess the bank’s performance.
Produce reasonable budgets and forecasts supported by plausible assumptions.
Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded, discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved, and financial records are maintained with high accuracy.
Compile and submit statutory reports and returns, mainly tax returns and ensure compliance with the tax statutes.
Ensure effective planning and coordination of Finance Department activities with other departments.
Daily payments processing, journals posting and other ad-hoc finance duties.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
CTA and Articles are an added advantage.
3 years working experience in a high paced working environment.
Excellent computer skills, high proficiency in excel and powerpoint.
Exposure to an Accounting Software Package an added advantage.
Adaptable and flexible, receptive to change and able to perform effectively in dynamic environment.
