Review designs for on-site infrastructure on Bank projects
Assessment of ‘as-built’ on-site infrastructure and review to identify and quantify requisite remedial works
Monitoring and supervision of remedial and outstanding construction work required for projects to achieve compliance for relevant authorities
Performance evaluation of the onsite infrastructure during the defects period
Preparing design review reports and outlining recommendations
Develop and submits to the Bank a Quality assurance Procedure Manual which describe methodology and procedures to be followed in attaining desired quality of the service at each stage
Generate monthly reports and progress reports
Qualifications:
A post-graduate degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent foreign/regional body.
At least 15 years as a civil engineer of which five (5) years should have been as a Project Manager or Resident Engineer on Housing Infrastructure Development and Construction and/ or Municipal Engineering services projects
Must have extensive experience in the design and construction supervision of urban roads, water, and sewerage reticulation systems. Knowledge of Zimbabwe General Conditions of Contracts and local Procurement Regulations will be an advantage
Familiarity with AUTOCAD, GIS, MS PROJECT, MS WORD, and MS EXCEL is a must.
