Develop, recommend and implement appropriate Corporate Affairs strategies, programmes and policies for all stakeholders to achieve positive image and brand.
Managing and coordinating research into stakeholders perceptions and image of an organization to achieve the positive reputation of the organization
Develop and maintain the group corporate image and identity, which includes the use of logos and signage.
Facilitate development of various branded communication and branded material.
Direct activities of external agencies, establishments and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs.
Facilitate internal communications through the informative newsletter and other relevant platforms
Planning, implementation and evaluation of the group’s exhibitions and special events.
Monitoring national and regional developments on trends and key issues and keeping the business informed on these.
Web and social media management
Manage Group Sustainability Reporting by working with respective BUs on initiatives
Ensure compliance with local and national regulations on product and packaging
Arrange interviews and other forms of contact between the key stakeholders and business executives
Co-ordinate the development of the group public affairs plan & develop the department budget in line with the functional objective
Manage day to day donations and sponsorship requests by making recommendations for support in keeping with corporate objectives
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Business, social science or relevant area
Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Business or related field
At least 10 years of relevant work experience three (3) of which should be in a management position
Membership of MAZ, PRAZ, CIM or relevant professional body
Experience with technologies and best practices for media campaigns across multiple platforms
