Financial Accounting

<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Contributes to the company strategic planning process by performing analysis and presenting information to support decision making process</li> <li>Prepares monthly management accounts and annual financial statements</li> <li>Prepares the company annual budget and ensure expenditure is in line with budget</li> <li>Manages company fixed assets and maintains the fixed asset register</li> <li>Manages insurance contracts to ensure all assets are adequately insured.</li> <li>Manages company cashflows</li> <li>Reviews and authorises all general ledger reconciliations and bank and cash account reconciliations</li> <li>Reviews and authorizes payments</li> <li>Maintains supplier database in system and oversee procurement activities</li> <li>Manages company&#39;s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems</li> <li>Ensures data integrity between property management system and financial accounting systems</li> <li>Manage internal and external audits</li> <li>Provides and interprets financial information for external stakeholders</li> <li>Develop and maintain relationships with critical stakeholders</li> <li>Ensure statutory compliance for the company, including compliance with tax and listing regulations.</li> <li>Develop and maintain financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in Accounting</li> <li>Completed Articles of Clerkship with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ)</li> <li>2 years relevant experience</li> <li>Accounting professional qualification or working towards attaining accounting professional qualification e.g. CA or ACCA</li> </ul>
