Duties and Responsibilities


  • Participates in the development, sharing and implementation of business strategies.
  • Support the procurement team on complex negotiations to optimise overall commercial position.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for key contracts in collaboration with key business areas
  • Provides procurement advice to executive team.
  • Tracks all orders processed to ensure timeous purchases.
  • Ensures that supplier’s database is updated and approved.
  • Builds strong relations with all the company’s stakeholders.
  • Supports the engagement and development of relationships with third parties to ensure viability and competitiveness in a changing business environment.
  • Procures quality services at competitive and profitable rates.
  • Participates in the attraction, retention of own team members
  • Ensures the filing of all legal and regulatory documents and monitors compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manages the material risks of the organisation and integrates consideration of these risks into all aspects.
  • Develops and recommends policies and procedures for the procurement function.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure procurement needs are met.
