Job Summary
Responsibility for the preparation of SBU budgets and monthly management accounts, quarterly board reports, costing, maintenance of audit file, and providing support to the senior Managers on financial matters.
- Primary Responsibilities
- Preparation of Board of directors meeting pack for the foreign subsidiary
- Financial planning and analysis of the company & other foreign subsidiaries
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements, inclusive of intercompany consolidation
- Preparation of budgets and rolling monthly forecast inclusive of cashflow
- Preparation of capital expenditure budget
- Reviewing and approving management monthly accounts and reconciliations of subsidiaries.
- Preparation of Annual Financial Statements for the company in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards & GAAP
- Monitoring and interpreting cashflows & operating performance
Participation in Company strategy and planning activities - Performing special business analysis and investigations as required across the company.
- Overseeing external audits for the company & other foreign subsidiaries e.g. preparing year end audit schedules and attending to audit queries
- Overseeing the bookkeeping function including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll, stock valuation reports, IAS41 valuation.
Qualifications
- Experience minimum 5 years
- Self-starter
- Accounting Degree
- Professional Qualifications - CIMA, CA (Z), ACCA.
