Duties and Responsibilities
Review legal documents and provide legal opinion to the organization
Provide recommendations to on strategic corporate decisions of a legal nature
Manage and negotiate contracts
Draft legal policies and procedures to guide the organisation on legal issues
Attend to any legal action for or against the organization
Prepare board resolutions and matters arising from board meetings
Assess and manage performance of external attorneys on behalf of the organisation
Qualifications and Attributes
Bachelor of Law Honours Degree
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Corporate Law environment
High level of confidentiality
Good interpersonal and communication skills
