Enterprise Resource Planning Officer

<p><strong>Overview</strong></p> <p>The ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Lead is responsible for leading development of the company&rsquo;s full business processes through the integrated suite of business software and applications utilized at the company. Most of the responsibilities are centered around but not limited to Microsoft Dynamics AX.</p> <p><strong>Duties and responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Systems analysis and requirements gathering</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborating with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure that requirements are aligned to business objectives, gaining full understanding of current business processes.</li> <li>Participating in every aspect of the solution implementation from analyzing the company&rsquo;s business requirements to configuring Microsoft Dynamics / related applications to meet business needs</li> <li>Documenting the business requirements which express what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Systems development, customization and maintenance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintaining current system functionality to assure optimal / expected performance</li> <li>Refining current functionality so as to improve performance and ease of use.</li> <li>Most of the development will be centered around (but not limited) the following systems: <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li>Microsoft Dynamics AX</li> <li>SharePoint Server</li> <li>PowerBI</li> <li>Management Reporter</li> <li>SQL Server (database and reporting system)</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Systems integration</strong></p> <ul> <li>Integrating and or overseeing integration of Microsoft Dynamics AX with other systems which aid the business processes (e.g. SharePoint, Validator, Britrix, etc&hellip;)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>User and customer support especially on the following products: <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li>Microsoft Dynamics</li> <li>SharePoint</li> <li>Management Reporter</li> </ul> </li> <li>Provide technical and functional support to the company when errors arise during system use (Maintaining an error file and addressing issues in the error file)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Administration</strong></p> <ul> <li>User accounts and roles on AD, Microsoft Dynamics and SharePoint</li> <li>Taking online and offline backups of ERP systems and databases</li> <li>Performance tuning</li> <li>SharePoint administration</li> </ul> <p><strong>Documentation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Gathering and documenting user requirements</li> <li>Coming up with SOPs and process flows for ERP related processes and procedures</li> <li>Coming up with User manuals</li> </ul> <p><strong>Training</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coming up with training recommendations for users on current and new systems related to ERP</li> <li>Setting up and maintaining a demo / training environment</li> <li>Training users</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Certification in Microsoft Dynamics AX</li> <li>Degree in Computer Science or equivalent</li> </ul> <p>EXPERIENCE</p> <p>*3 years experience</p>
