Responsibilities:

  • To visit Key customer / retail shops / panel beaters / local workshops periodically and understand requirements
  • To maintain good relations with all the retail partners
  • To supply the parts as per the requirement
  • To educate customers about genuine parts advantages and increase their parts off take.
  • To help them manage their inventory for better availability and safety stock
  • To resolve issues related to sourcing parts.
  • To estimate monthly parts requirement and communicate to accounts.
  • To monitor the monthly receivables of the customers
  • To look for opportunities for adding new customers for increasing parts sales
  • To share the information about competition parts pricing and other marketing details
  • To have direct interaction with customers at the front counter and on the phone and workshop
  • To look up parts on a computer per truck s/n number on the global system
  • To create invoices on a computer business system
  • To maintain merchandising displays
  • To perform core Parts inspection and Manage inventory and stock levels
  • To meet set sales targets

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Management/ Marketing/ Economics/Purchasing & Sales
  • 3-5 years’ experience in business operations
  • 2-3 years retail automotive experience
  • 5+ years and more of sales and marketing experience in extra heavy commercial vehicles in SA
