Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Management of the day to day procurement and bidding process in line with the Public Procurement and Assets Disposal Act (chapter 22.23)
- Drafting of contracts in liaison with the legal department.
- Provision of high level technical guidance by communicating policies and procedures to clients in procurement processes.
- Ensuring that the annual procurement plan is in place.
- Managing suppliers through sound relationships and performance monitoring.
- Supervising and reviewing staff assignments.
- Conducting procurement research and adopting the best procurement method available.
- Ensuring the taking of minutes on all procurement proceedings.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Degree in Purchasing & Supply Management.
- HND in Purchasing & Supply.
- Full CIPS
- A Master’s Degree in Purchasing & Supply will be an added advantage.
- At least 3 years relevant experience.
