Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Management of the day to day procurement and bidding process in line with the Public Procurement and Assets Disposal Act (chapter 22.23)
  • Drafting of contracts in liaison with the legal department.
  • Provision of high level technical guidance by communicating policies and procedures to clients in procurement processes.
  • Ensuring that the annual procurement plan is in place.
  • Managing suppliers through sound relationships and performance monitoring.
  • Supervising and reviewing staff assignments.
  • Conducting procurement research and adopting the best procurement method available.
  • Ensuring the taking of minutes on all procurement proceedings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Degree in Purchasing & Supply Management.
  • HND in Purchasing & Supply.
  • Full CIPS
  • A Master’s Degree in Purchasing & Supply will be an added advantage.
  • At least 3 years relevant experience.
