Credit Controller

<p>Main duties:</p> <p><strong>Granting of Credit</strong></p> <ul> <li>Receives credit application forms with all attached relevant documents </li> <li>Liaises with referees on the application forms to verify credit worthiness of potential customers.</li> <li>Conducts and inquires from Transunion about the record of prospective customers.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Debt Collection</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prints debtors statements and attaches invoices</li> <li>Sends the statements and invoices to clients</li> <li>Chases for payment telephonically or through emails</li> </ul> <p>​​​​​​​<strong>Reconciling and allocating debtors payments </strong></p> <ul> <li>Asks for debtors remittance advice</li> <li>Matches the receipts to the invoices</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preparation of Management Reports</strong></p> <ul> <li>Exports the debtors age analysis from ACCPAC to Excel</li> </ul> <p><strong>Safety, Health and Environment (SHE)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensures that workers use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that the company has provided.</li> </ul> <p>Qualification:</p> <ul> <li>Bsc in Accounting/ Finance</li> <li>Higher Certificate/Diploma in Credit Management</li> <li>2 years relevant experience</li> </ul>
