Provide management accounting reports to show the company's financial performance compared to budgets.
Provide financial data and analysis to support decision-making.
Perform regular reviews of the trial balance, ensuring all accounts are accurate, complete, and compliant with accounting standards.
Prepare and present flash accounts and monthly management accounts ensuring all variances are accurately explained.
Prepare the daily and weekly operating income and expenses tracker, providing insights and recommendations to the business development team.
Produce reasonable budgets and forecasts supported by plausible assumptions.
Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded, discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved, and financial records are maintained with high accuracy.
Ensure effective planning and coordination of Finance Department activities with other departments.
Daily payments processing, journals posting and other ad-hoc finance duties.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
CTA and Articles are an added advantage.
3 years working experience in a high paced working environment.
Excellent computer skills, high proficiency in excel and powerpoint.
Exposure to an Accounting Software Package an added advantage.
Adaptable and flexible, receptive to change and able to perform effectively in dynamic environment.
