Pack house Supervisor

Main Duties: General pack-house management, Maintaining quality product output, Ensuring flowers are processed as per the customer specifications, Effective control of Company resources Provide leadership and direction on all packhouse issues, Packhouse documentation accuracy and consistency, Efficient product grading, processing and packaging, Enforcement of health and safety procedures and policies, Drive ongoing continuous improvement focusing on detail around quality, volumes and yields, Attention to detailed operations systems and SOPs, be involved in driving, productivity, quality and through crop planning from field through to pack-shed, Drive adoption of global best practices and benchmarks with local innovation, Plan, control, develop capacity depth and skills through performance management for the pack-house team at all levels (pack lists and drivers) Closely guard reputation and integrity of the business. Effective management of stock levels on packaging, Managing the cold – chain, ensuring quality through timely spray & hygiene processes, Effective administration work through the record keeping, compilation of pack-out and dispatch lists, Interact with logistics operations at the airport and overseeing of export procedures. Qualifications: Degree in agricultural related discipline, Some knowledge in marketing and sales will be an added advantage. Experience in any high attention to detail from export oriented horticultural cropping at management level.
