Develops and implemenst an annual sales structure and long term plan for the Airline with a view to optimise revenue and market presence
Maximises on selling opportunities and effectively manages sales resources
Creates and distributes offline and online sales campaigns
Seeks out new business opportunities, channels of distribution and routes
Liaises and manages stakeholder and partner relationships specific to cooperative sales activity
Measures and monitors the return on investment for all sales activity
Interprets account revenue and shares reports to determine profitability
Employs selling techniques and negotiating strategies to achieve sales goals
Develops point of sale related material
Coordinates and monitors sales updates
Supports the Marketing and Finance team activities with a view to guiding revenue and increasing customer loyalty in accordance with agreed business plans
Observes company polices and meets departmental budgetary targets
Requirement
A minimum of five (5) years previous experience in a sales role in the aviation sector, hospitality or travel industry
A University Degree in Sales/Marketing/ Communication or relevant tertiary qualification
Related Masters Degree is an added advantage
Expert in sales and assertive in e-commerce and digital sales and marketing
A proven track record in brand management
Exceptional written communication skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines
