Transport and Logistics Executive

<p>Main Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates all transport activities with all relevant HODs to ensure consistent transport service to internal &amp; external customers</li> <li>Monitors collections &amp; deliveries to ensure quick turnaround time</li> <li>Identifies, communicates &amp; coordinates 3rd party logistics partners (3PL)</li> <li>Sets &amp; executes the Transport &amp; Logistics budget in line with Company strategy &amp; corporate goals</li> <li>Manages Transport &amp; Logistics costs &amp; revenue and ensures all KPIs are reached</li> <li>Ensures the company fleet is maintained and operated as per vehicle instructions &amp; SOPs</li> <li>Ensures that vehicles meet legal requirements in line with traffic regulations</li> <li>Ensures that the whole team understands, applies &amp; commits to the Company Values, Team Behaviours &amp; Code of Conduct</li> <li>Must be a role model for our values and behaviours</li> <li>Manages by walkabouts, is action driven and leads by example</li> <li>Ensures individual goals &amp; KPIs / targets are set for each team member aligned with company&rsquo;s strategic goals</li> <li>Drives the performance management process including performance reviews, coaching, training &amp; disciplinary action to ensure optimal performance</li> <li>Applies sound financial management principles including identifying financial risks and applying a mitigation plan</li> </ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bsc in Transport and Logistics</li> <li>At least 3- 5 years in a senior management role</li> </ul>
