Transport and Logistics Executive

Main Duties:

• Coordinates all transport activities with all relevant HODs to ensure consistent transport service to internal & external customers
• Monitors collections & deliveries to ensure quick turnaround time
• Identifies, communicates & coordinates 3rd party logistics partners (3PL)
• Sets & executes the Transport & Logistics budget in line with Company strategy & corporate goals
• Manages Transport & Logistics costs & revenue and ensures all KPIs are reached
• Ensures the company fleet is maintained and operated as per vehicle instructions & SOPs
• Ensures that vehicles meet legal requirements in line with traffic regulations
• Ensures that the whole team understands, applies & commits to the Company Values, Team Behaviours & Code of Conduct
• Must be a role model for our values and behaviours
• Manages by walkabouts, is action driven and leads by example
• Ensures individual goals & KPIs / targets are set for each team member aligned with company’s strategic goals
• Drives the performance management process including performance reviews, coaching, training & disciplinary action to ensure optimal performance
• Applies sound financial management principles including identifying financial risks and applying a mitigation plan

Qualifications:

• Bsc in Transport and Logistics
• At least 3- 5 years in a senior management role
