Academic Qualifications Required and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.
- Experience in the construction, engineering, manufacturing, or a related heavy industry is a significant advantage.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Advanced Proficiency in:
- Data Visualization Tools: Power BI (highly preferred), Tableau, or similar
- Programming and Querying: Strong skills in SQL for data extraction. Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) or R for advanced analysis
- Database Management: Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle)
- Expert Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, advanced formulas, VBA macros).
- Experience with ERP systems (BuildSmart) is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and predictive modelling techniques (regression, clustering, time-series analysis).
- Knowledge of project management principles and financial concepts (e.g., budgeting, forecasting) relevant to construction.
