KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for achieving set targets as per SOPs and clients’ specifications for designated parent rearing sites
- Responsible for managing the Parent Rearing team on designated parent rearing sites
- Responsible for meeting Parent Rearing targets as per SOPs & clients’ specifications for designated sites
- Ensures that biosecurity, QA SOPs & animal welfare standards are adhered to at all time by Parent Rearing team for designated sites
- Responsible for all Parent Rearing assets, equipment & stocks in designated sites
- Adheres to Quality Assurance SOPs at all time
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- Relevant Animal Science tertiary educational qualification and demonstrable managerial experience.
- Sound knowledge of dynamics involved in growing chickens.
- Proven track record demonstrating individual’s ability to maintain sound relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders as well as being able to implement effective management systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team.
