Rearing Site Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Responsible for achieving set targets as per SOPs and clients’ specifications for designated parent rearing sites
2. Responsible for managing the Parent Rearing team on designated parent rearing sites
3. Responsible for meeting Parent Rearing targets as per SOPs & clients’ specifications for designated sites
4. Ensures that biosecurity, QA SOPs & animal welfare standards are adhered to at all time by Parent Rearing team for designated sites
5. Responsible for all Parent Rearing assets, equipment & stocks in designated sites
6. Adheres to Quality Assurance SOPs at all time

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

• Relevant Animal Science tertiary educational qualification and demonstrable managerial experience.
• Sound knowledge of dynamics involved in growing chickens.
• Proven track record demonstrating individual’s ability to maintain sound relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders as well as being able to implement effective management systems.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team.
