A well-established safety footwear & garment manufacturing company invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill this vacancy.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Present, promote and sell company products to both existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
- Identifying and pursuing potential customers through various methods, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Provide market insights and competitor analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Handling after-sales and customer care services as well as resolving any arising problems or complaints.
- Managing relationship with key customers (Key Account Management - KAM).
- Managing and developing a designated sales territory.
- Preparing and submitting sales reports and forecasts.
- Assisting Sales & Marketing Manager in preparing Sales budget and managing of expenditures.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Degree in Sales & Marketing or a related field.
- At least 3 years of post-qualification working experience in a similar or equivalent role.
- Previous work experience in the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) industry or a related industry is preferred.
- Exceptional negotiation, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in SAGE 200 Evolution is preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset.
- Self-motivation and a results-oriented mindset.
- Willing to work anywhere in Zimbabwe and must be fluent in both Ndebele and Shona.
- A clean Class 4 driver's license.
