Transport and Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics and transport strategies to support production and distribution objectives.
• Manage the scheduling, routing, and tracking of inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Optimize transport costs while maintaining service efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with local and international transport regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards.
• Oversee fleet management, vehicle maintenance, driver supervision, and fuel usage monitoring.
• Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with transport providers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
• Work closely with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Implement logistics performance metrics, including on-time delivery, transport cost per unit, and route optimization.
• Manage and maintain accurate documentation for shipments, permits, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
• Train and supervise logistics staff to ensure a high-performance team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in transport and logistics management, preferably in the manufacturing sector
