Primary Duties
- Tool Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on small tools, including generators, plate compactors, jumping jacks, pedestrian rollers, vibrators and water pumps ensuring safe and efficient usage.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with tools and equipment, implementing effective repair solutions.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of small tools and parts, ensuring adequate stock levels for repairs and replacements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and inventory changes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with construction teams to assess tool needs and provide support for on-site equipment issues.
Academic Qualifications Required:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent/Technical certification in small engine repair or a related field is preferred.
Professional Qualifications:
- Diploma in Motor Mechanics – Class ½
Years of Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair of small tools and equipment.
Additional Training Required
- Training in safety standards and equipment handling (SHEQ).
- Familiarity with maintenance management software is a plus.
