Primary Duties

  • Tool Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on small tools, including generators, plate compactors, jumping jacks, pedestrian rollers, vibrators and water pumps ensuring safe and efficient usage.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with tools and equipment, implementing effective repair solutions.
  •  Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of small tools and parts, ensuring adequate stock levels for repairs and replacements.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and inventory changes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with construction teams to assess tool needs and provide support for on-site equipment issues.


Academic Qualifications Required:


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent/Technical certification in small engine repair or a related field is preferred.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Motor Mechanics – Class ½

Years of Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair of small tools and equipment.

Additional Training Required

  • Training in safety standards and equipment handling (SHEQ).
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software is a plus.
