Maintenance Manager

Academic Qualifications Required
- Degree in Civil or Structural engineering
- Relevant certification in Project Management is an added advantage
Experience Required
- At least five (5) years’ experience in maintenance and project management
- Proven track record in successfully managing projects and maintenance projects, preferably in construction or real estate sector.
- Knowledge of maintenance management systems and project management tools
- Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems required
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies and plans
- Manage and coordinate maintenance activities
- Oversee the planning, execution and completion of projects
- Develop and manage annual maintenance budget and project budgets
- Manage a team of maintenance and projects staff including artisans and commissionaires
- Project management
- Inspection of all properties in the portfolio to identify maintenance issues and ensure tenants compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
- Coordinate and liaise with external contractors and service providers for projects and service providers for repairs and maintenance services
- Monitor and review outsourced maintenance works to ensure work is carried out within agreed scope and is of good quality
- Provide technical advice pertaining to real estate purchases or development proposals.
- Risk management in respect of the property maintenance portfolio and project development
