Supervisor Cleaners

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare and implement cleaning schedules to ensure all areas within and outside the organisation are cleaned to the required standards. • Supervise, allocate and monitor the daily work of cleaning staff across assigned areas. • Distribute, monitor and control effective use of cleaning materials. • Ensures adequate stock and request replenishment of cleaning materials timeously. • Recommend the right detergents for cleaning. • Oversees and ensure safe use, care and storage of equipment and materials. • Reports on any faults encountered while carrying out the duties. • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure quality and identify areas needing attention. • Facilitates and supervises subcontracted services of the premises. • Drafts and recommend work procedures for the section. • Support continuous improvement by recommending new methods, tools, or equipment for more efficient service delivery. • Facilitates the provision of protective clothing for staff. • Train and guide cleaning staff on proper use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures. • Handle staff issues, including attendance, performance monitoring, and reporting concerns to management. • Address and resolve complaints or requests related to cleaning services.
