Senior Bank Examiner – Legal and Enforcement

•Participate in the review and recommend registration or rejection of applications submitted by regulated institutions as may be assigned. •Participate in on-site examinations and review of off-site supervision reports of regulated financial institutions to assess compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. •Prepare enforcement reports on a quarterly basis. •Participate in the review of relevant statutory instruments as gazetted from time to time and prepare legal review reports. •Participate in the review of the legal and regulatory framework to ensure maintenance of standards in line with best practice. •Participate in the review of supervisory actions and strategies for resolution. •Initiate research on the legal and regulatory framework and recommend best practice. •Provide input in compilation of reports for use by banking sector stakeholders.
