Duties
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Innovation and Digital Transformation
• Implement the Group's approved innovation and digital transformation roadmap.
• Identify opportunities for process automation, operational improvement and technology-enabled efficiencies across the business.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend suitable solutions to support business objectives.
• Coordinate implementation of innovation initiatives that improve productivity, project delivery and customer experience.
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the organisation.
• Monitor industry trends and recommend opportunities for technology adoption.

Technology Strategy Implementation
• Translate approved business and technology strategies into executable programmes and projects.
• Develop annual departmental operating plans aligned with Group objectives.
• Establish implementation priorities and monitor progress against approved plans.
• Monitor and report on the performance of innovation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Provide regular updates to the Finance Director on progress, challenges and opportunities.

Systems Development and Digital Solutions
• Lead the identification, selection and implementation of technology systems, software and digital platforms.
• Evaluate whether solutions should be developed internally or acquired from external vendors.
• Oversee implementation of enterprise systems and digital solutions.
• Ensure technology projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, deployment and post-implementation reviews.

Technology Infrastructure and Operations
• Ensure availability, reliability and security of the Group's technology infrastructure.
• Oversee hardware, networks, cloud services and related technology assets.
• Monitor technology performance and service levels.
• Ensure adequate technology capacity exists to support business operations.
• Coordinate maintenance and upgrades of technology infrastructure.
• Manage relationships with technology service providers and vendors.

Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
• Support development of business intelligence and data analytics capabilities.
• Promote data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
• Develop performance dashboards and management reporting tools.
• Ensure integrity, security and quality of business information.

Cybersecurity, Governance and Compliance
• Implement information security policies, procedures and controls.
• Monitor cybersecurity risks and coordinate mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant technology regulations and standards.
• Coordinate technology audits and compliance reviews.
• Maintain technology governance frameworks and operational controls.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Ensure critical systems are adequately backed up and protected.
• Coordinate testing and review of recovery procedures.
• Monitor business continuity readiness across technology environments.

Financial Management
• Develop annual departmental budgets for review and approval.
• Monitor expenditure against approved budgets.
• Prepare business cases and recommendations for technology investments.
• Ensure cost-effective utilisation of technology resources.
• Participate in contract negotiations and vendor management processes.
People Leadership and Development
• Lead and manage Innovation, Technology and Digital Transformation personnel.
• Establish performance objectives and monitor achievement.
• Identify skills gaps and coordinate training initiatives.
• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous professional development.
• Build a high-performance and service-oriented team culture
