Management Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate departmental management accounts and financial reports.

• Monitor and analyse financial performance against budgets and operational targets.

• Manage inventory accounting, stock controls, reconciliations, and stock variance investigations.

• Maintain product costing models and perform profitability and cost analyses.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

• Monitor departmental expenditure and drive budgetary control.

• Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Partner with operational teams to improve efficiency, profitability, and achievement of key business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, CA, or active progression towards qualification.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Management Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis, or a similar finance role.

• Experience in a manufacturing or agro-processing environment will be an added advantage.
