Manager Compliance and Audit
Job Purpose
To prepare, coordinate, administer and manage the audit, quality, safety and security management programme of the organisation. Accountable for regulatory oversight of the organisation’s maintenance and flight operational activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direction to and has overall authority to coordinate the activities of the Corporate Quality, Safety and Security Department;
- Implement of the requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority Requirements for the time being in force and all associated Airworthiness regulations and requirements;
- Provide guidance and direction to operational personnel on issues of the quality, safety and security of operations within the organization and makes decisions regarding risk tolerability with respect to the safety and / or security of aircraft operations;
- Monitor the organization’s compliance with Civil Aviation Authority Requirements, IOSA, ISAGO, EASA, Safety requirements and requesting remedial action as necessary. Ensures continued maintenance of the conditions of Approvals granted to the organizational operational departments to include the organization’s AOC Approval and any Approvals granted by any other body;
- Provide direction to and has overall authority to coordinate the activities of the Corporate Quality, Safety and Security Department;
- Implement of the requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority Requirements for the time being in force and all associated Airworthiness regulations and requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must be a holder of a Diploma or Degree in Aircraft Maintenance – Engineering or a holder of a Commercial Pilot Licence.
- Be a holder of a Civil Aviation Authority Type Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) Licence or a Commercial Pilot Licence operated by Air Zimbabwe
- Conversant with Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe requirements for the time being in force, Federal Aviation Authority (FAA), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and organizational requirements and procedures.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience of which 3 years must have been at senior management level.
