Serology Technologist

<p><strong>Major Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>&middot; Ensures all Serology tests are run following Serology lab methods, SOPs &amp; quality standards as per set turn-around times</p> <p>&middot; Compiles a weekly Serology Tests Report and submits to Superior &amp; Lab Manager</p> <p>&middot; Responsible for all Serology equipment</p> <p>&middot; Responsible for maintaining Serology lab equipment (including calibration) as per Equipment Calibration &amp; Service Schedule</p> <p>&middot; Responsible for running Quality Internal Audits as per Quality Audit Schedule</p> <p>&middot; Checks that root/cause analysis &amp; corrective actions have been implemented on NC forms by Head of audited Dept and signs off NC forms</p> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p> <p>&middot; BSc Degree in Biological Sciences, Applied Chemistry or Biochemistry from a recognised institution.</p> <p>&middot; At least 2 years&rsquo; experience in Laboratory</p>
