Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing and reviewing strategy in line with broader Board requirements.
- Maintaining sound relationship with all stakeholders locally, regionally and internationally.
- Raising capital for all growth initiatives in line with Board approval.
- Resource mobilizing for all the Association operations.
- Developing company policies for approval by the Board.
- Developing and monitoring adherence to set benchmarks which guarantee strategy execution.
- Reviewing and monitoring staff performance.
- Identifying new business lines for the Association.
- Establishing system and procedures to ensure the business opportunities are fully taken advantage of.
- Accounting for all the Association procurement processes.
- Ensuring all procured goods and services are in line with the Association expectations .
Qualifications and Experience:
- First degree in a technical area is required.
- Master’s Degree is a prerequisite.
- At least 10 years’ experience, 5 years at Executive Management level .
- Knowledge of Standards e.g. ISO/IEC 17020, 17021, 17025.
- Added advantage, knowledge of Consignment Based Conformity Assessment.
