Line Inspector

<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of Line Inspector</p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul><br /> <li>Analysis of cans and finished products for compliance to set standards</li> <br /> <li>Sampling for micro, retention &amp; taste samples for further laboratory tests</li> <br /> <li>Monitoring of water treatment operations, plant cleaning and sanitation</li> <br /> <li>Monitoring GMP &amp; housekeeping in the plant</li> <br /> <li>Checking state of cans &amp; equipment prior to filling including lid checks, seamer inspection, filler bowl &amp; labelling efficiency</li> <br /> <li>Lab equipment calibration at required frequencies</li> <br /> <li>Solution preparation and standardization</li> <br /> <li>Ensuring proper label &amp; label application, date coding, fill weights,</li> <br /> <li>Reporting anomalies in analysis process</li> <br /> <br /> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p> <ul><br /> <li>Degree in Chemical Technology, Food Science or Biochemistry</li> <br /> <li>5 O&#39; levels including English, Mathematics/Accounts and Science</li> <br /> <li>Good understanding of Management Systems i.e Food Safety and Quality </li> <br /> <br /> </ul>
