Process Engineer

<p><strong>Main Duties:</strong></p> <p>Safety</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a strict adherence to safety policies and procedures for individuals within the process team and control</li> <li>Ensure process is calibrated and designed at the least/minima health and safety risks to operators</li> </ul> <p>Environment</p> <ul> <li>Assume responsibility of the product lifecycle</li> <li>Ensure efficient process raw material conversion</li> </ul> <p>Quality Assurance</p> <ul> <li>Assume responsibility for the laboratory and its associated functions</li> <li>Optimize and maintain the overall performance of the process as per WCM standards</li> </ul> <p>Risk</p> <ul> <li>Identify business risks associated with the process</li> <li>Implementation of risk mitigation plans for the process</li> </ul> <p>Research and Development</p> <ul> <li>Carry out research and development on the process and lead new product development initiatives</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in Engineering: Process / Chemical / Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering</li> <li>At least 2 years experience</li> <li>Project Management qualification</li> <li>Engineering Council of Zimbabwe Registration</li> <li>SHERQ Systems certification (Systems development/Internal audit) &ndash; Advantage</li> <li>Knowledge and or certification of WCM, LEAN, SIX SIGMA tools - Advantage</li> </ul>
