Accountant- Accounts Payable

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for the full creditors book of the company and manage it as per SOPs

2. Manage all engagements with suppliers, both internal and external regarding payments.

3. Creates demand for cash from the Treasurer and manages all communications regarding payments to all the stakeholders as required.

4. Manages all payment plans and communicates as required.

5. Leads the Creditors team to achieve set objectives

6. Responsible for all creditors payments

7. Responsible for reconciling creditor’s accounts

8. Responsible for Vat & withholding tax returns

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

2. Professional Qualification or working towards achieving a professional qualification (ACCA

3. A minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience.

4. Understanding of internal accounting controls,
