Driver Supervisor & Instructor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for the recruitment and assessment of all Drivers

2. Responsible for the maintenance of all vehicles in consultation with the Workshop Department

3. Responsible for training the team of Drivers

4. Conduct Defensive Driving Course

5. Communicates company SOPs with team members

6. Responsible for mentoring and coaching team members

7. Responsible for managing and ensuring discipline of the team of Drivers

8. Compiles journey plan in consultation with HODs

9. Ensures the workforce adhere to health and safety procedures at all times

10. Responsible for the maintenance of vehicles

11. Ensures vehicles are serviced on time

12. In consultation with the workshop, attends to repairs of vehicles

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

· 5 ‘O’ Levels

· Defensive Driving Course Instructor

· Class 1 Driver

· Driving School instructor

· Diploma in Transport and Logistics will be an added advantage

· Computer proficiency

· Proven track record demonstrating individual’s ability to maintain sound relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders as well as being able to implement effective management systems

· Demonstrable ability to lead and live the Company Values and Team Behaviors

· Problem solving ability

· Good interpersonal skills

· Detail oriented
