Commercial Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and manage commercial risks.
• Providing commercial support for projects.
• Developing and implementing all necessary policies, strategies, controls and procedures to ensure that the commercial function operates effectively.
• Review of contracts for service providers/contractors ensuring the company is still getting value from the contracts.
• Following up and ensuring both parties comply with contractual obligations.
• Participate in contract negotiations.
• Developing and managing relationships with service providers / contractors.

Qualifications

• Related University degree
• 10 years’ experience in contract development, review and management
• Mining experience is desired.
• A good business acumen required.
• Working experience of commercial law an added advantage.
• Good understanding of commercial risks
