Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide a Trust link role with all stakeholders in the district
- Coordinate and monitor district specific projects
- Work with district stakeholders on all Trust related community mobilization activities
- Project appraisals
- Selection of project participants
- Evaluation of sustainable income generation projects
- Loan repayments follow-ups and enforcement
- Design and develop effective information management (including management information systems), communications, feedback and linkages with all key stakeholders.
- Carrying out periodic needs assessments, evaluations and subsequent capacity building of communities and staff in the trust.
- Design, develop and submit sustainable market income generating project proposals
- Liaise with current and prospective partners in establishing business linkages and income generation initiatives
- Manage Trust resources and ensure their effective deployment in terms of sector allocations (Women, Youths and the disabled)
- Asset management and oversight
- Timely preparation and submission of accurate monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports to the CEO
- Work closely with the Trust Accounting Officer to ensure transparency and accountability in all forms of business interaction
- Adhere and articulate the requirements of the operations procedures manual and other Trust policies
- Carry out marketing and sales activities for the Trust
- Accurate recording and reconciliations of products
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualification should include a BSc degree in any business field.
- At least 5 years’ of experience working in rural community-based projects.
- A certificate/diploma in either of the following: Project management, Project implementation ,Project monitoring and evaluation.
