Plant  Operator

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Main Duties&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Ensure that production targets are met&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Ensure that operational /metallurgical parameters and procedures are observed.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Monitor inappropriate work practices and carry out corrective action as is required.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Ensure corrective action for any variance to set metallurgical standards.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Ensure optimum utilization of labour ,material resources and equipment.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Ensure that safety standards are maintained at all times.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Coordinate plant operations to ensure optimum plant efficiency.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Liaise with Engineering on preventive maintenance &amp;amp; general plant maintenance.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Person Specification&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;National Diploma in Mineral Processing / Metallurgy/ Chemistry or related field.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;NEC Registered Plant Operator.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;At least 5 years&amp;#39; experience in a similar position.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Working knowledge of CIP is a must.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Ability to work under pressure and adhere to set time frames.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt;
