Farming Operations Graduate Trainee

The organization has exciting plans for future growth providing exceptional opportunities for career and professional development, and as such, seeks to identify young, enthusiastic and energetic, qualified graduates who are ready to explore a new dynamic culture to participate in their Farming Operations Graduate Traineeship Program.</p> <p><strong>Reports Purpose to:</strong> Section Manager </p> <p><strong>Major Functions: </strong>To undergo a 2 -year intensive and competency -based training program on fruits (bananas, avocados &amp; apples) and flowers agriculture growing practices.</p> <p><strong>Skills and Competencies:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Technical mind with a high interest in driving technical progress,</li> <li>Confident and open team player,</li> <li>Strong attention to detail,</li> <li>Proactive and entrepreneurial bent,</li> <li>Curious and demanding of new knowledge and its transfer,</li> <li>Proven ability to build and be mentored into an outstanding individual</li> </ul> <p><strong>Computer proficiencies:</strong> - Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power<strong> </strong>Point plus experience with Sage Evolution</p> <p><strong>Salary: </strong>Negotiable</p> <p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A 1st Class degree in an Agriculture related field and a 1st Class Diploma will be applicable,</li> <li>Should be willing to be placed at any of our operations around Zimbabwe.</li> <li>Be aged 25 years or below</li> </ul>
