Main Duties: Receives pre-alerts from customers and transporters. Calculates duty and sending quotations to clients within a specified time. Advises clients of the import/export requirements (regulatory compliance). Advises clients of the most beneficial methods of importing. Communicates with customers giving updates and responding to enquiries in time. Ensures timeous customs clearance. Ensures clients receive their original customs documents after final clearance. Manages leakages that is avoiding storages and demurrages. Maintains existing customers and creation of new customers. Adheres to disbursement policy on all authorisations. Implements working procedures Qualifications: Diploma in customs legislation & procedure or equivalent Degree in supply chain management/ international marketing/business management an added advantage Minimum of 2 years’ experience CILT FIATA
