Duties & Responsibilities Running the day to day accounting tasks and functions for the organization General accounting, managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, month-end closing financial statement preparation, and reconciliations Maintain journal entries or general ledger reconciliation and perform data entry, cash applications, and full-cycle A/P, and staff supervision Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/ Equivalent At least 5 years of experience Knowledge and experience in construction accounting and/or project cost-accounting practices is an added advantage Strong working knowledge of GAAP and experience with A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger postings invoicing, cash/handling deposits, bank reconciliation, and other balance sheet account reconciliations Advanced proficiency in Excel & Microsoft Office is a MUST, working knowledge of Foundation Software is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization skills with the ability to multitask Possess a strong work ethic and be detailed oriented, flexible, and a team player Ability to manage/supervise/motivate others
