<p>Industrial Psychology Consultants (Pvt) Ltd has been contracted by the Zimplats Mhondoro-Ngezi, Chegutu, Zvimba Community Share Ownership Trust to assist with the recruitment and selection of a suitable candidate for the position of Gardener.</p> <p><strong>Main </strong><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Soil cultivation, digging, forking, mulching, watering, raking, weeding, edging, pruning, bed preparation and planting</li> <li>Lawn maintenance and cultivation</li> <li>The use and maintenance of hand tools and basic light machinery</li> <li>The use of cylinder and rotary mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers</li> <li>Adjustments of mower height and quality of cut, etc.</li> <li>Oil level checks and checks for damage to any mower</li> <li>To ensure all equipment, machinery and buildings are secure</li> <li>To keep the kitchen and offices clean and tidy</li> <li>To empty litter bins around the premises</li> <li>To respond to emergency calls</li> <li>Assist with the erection and dismantling of banners</li> <li>Prepare and plant rockeries, herbaceous borders and shrubberies</li> <li>Carry out car parking duties as required</li> <li>Understand and ensure the implementation of the ZMNCZ Health &amp; Safety policy, and emergency Fire procedures.</li> <li>Report any faulty appliances, damaged equipment or any potential hazard.</li> <li>Promote safe working practices within the premises.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications </strong><strong>&amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 3 O&rsquo; Levels</li> <li>Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role</li> <li>Traceable work experience in a community share ownership trust is an added advantage</li> </ul>
