Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree/Diploma in Catering and hospitality/ Professional Cookery
  • 2-4 years in similar role
  • Hospitality added advantage
  • Must be 22 to 30 years of age

Job Description:

  • Manage food costing and inventory.
  • Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulation
  • Ensuring food quality and taste is of the highest standard
  • Taking Canteen order numbers from supervisors every morning and cooking according to the orders given
  • Maintaining a Canteen inventory register and minimizing wastage
  • Adhering to the agreed menus
  • Adhere to safety health environment and quality systems
