Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify operational areas and employee habits that are vulnerable to theft/pilferage and enhancing loss minimisation measures in these areas.
- Ensuring fuel loaded reconciles to product delivered to client and working with truck companies to manage drivers and minimize transit losses.
- Carry out random audits of operations in other departments to check for unreported losses.
- Reconciliation of product releases to delivery notes and ensuring correct delivered fuel volumes are invoiced to customers.
- Formulating loss detection procedures and continuously enforce them to make sure that losses to the company are minimized.
- Managing consignment stocks by monitoring stocks held by customers and ensuring payments are received timeously for all fuel sold and that balance due from client is supported by stocks in customer tanks.
- Conduct thorough investigations of all cases of losses through suspected theft/pilferage, fraudulent activities and malicious behavior.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum educational standard of Security and Risk Management.
- Appreciation of General Accounting.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in the Zimbabwe Republic Police -Criminal Investigations Department Section, Intelligence or Criminal Intelligence Unit with a clean record of service
- Other requirement is a clean driving license.
