Chief Finance Officer

Industrial Psychology Consultants (Pvt) Ltd has been contracted by the Zimbabwe Women’s Microfinance Bank Limited to assist with the recruitment and selection of a suitable candidate for the Chief Finance Officer position below:

Overall Job Purpose

The position exists to manage all the financial administration aspects and information of the organisation to various stakeholders inter alia financial planning, cost control, budgeting as well as responsible for coordinating and leading the finance and business analysis aspects

Duties and Responsibilities

• To perform effective risk management and plan the organization’s financial strategy.

• To protect the company’s revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.

• Plan, develop and direct the implementation of policies and management of the execution of all support divisions (direct reports) which include, Finance and Administration, Information and Technology and Banking operations.
• Promoting Financial Inclusion through development and wide distribution of appropriate and fairly priced (affordable and accessible) products and services.

Qualifications and ExperienceDegree in Accounting;

• Professional qualification (CA, CIMA or ACCA);
• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant;
• MBA, Leadership or Finance is an added advantage;
• Minimum 8 years of experience at Senior Management level of which at least 2 years must be as Chief Finance Officer.
