Maintenance Planning Manager

Duties

\r\n\r\n

\r\n
• Manages, coordinates and supervises maintenance planning in accordance with the Maintenance Program approved by the Authority.
\r\n
• Complys with applicable regulations and standards of the Operator.
\r\n
• All maintenance carried out in accordance with policies and procedures contained in the Maintenance Management Manual (MMM).
\r\n
• Ensures planned maintenance activities are executed according to deadline.
\r\n
• Plans and prepares all outsourced base maintenance activities in coordination with the fleet planning department .
\r\n
• Responsible for outstation maintenance support set-up, contracts and follow-up; insourced third party maintenance contracting and follow-up, and special projects involving production and/or planning departments according to company requirements.
\r\n
• Analyses, defines and implements procedures, applications and tools both intra- and inter-department to minimize downtimes.
\r\n
• Manages safety risks in maintenance operations.
\r\n
• Controls Airplane Defects

Requirements

\r\n\r\n

\r\n
• Bachelor degree Aviation (or equivalent by experience)
\r\n
• Aircraft Engineer’s licence
\r\n
• Minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience in production, planning or engineering functions
\r\n
• People manager, communicator and team player
\r\n
• Strong negotiator on financial as well as technical fields
\r\n
• Ability to translate strategic vision into project plans and tangible time phased actions
\r\n
• Financial knowledge of cost accounting and investment analysis and the impact on the Profit & Loss
\r\n
• Administrative and analytical skills
\r\n
• Good IT skills: MS Office, databases
\r\n
• Good language skills: Fluent in English
\r\n
• Training experience is an added advantage
\r\n
