The Infrastructure Development Bank of Zimbabwe (“IDBZ/the Bank”) is a leading Development Finance Institution that promotes infrastructure development in the energy, transport, water and sanitation, information communication technology (ICT) and housing sectors. These sectors play a critical role in underpinning economic growth and development.

In order to effectively execute its mandate, the Bank seeks to recruit the following personnel:

DRIVER

JOB PURPOSE

The job exists to deliver services to all staff and to deliver external mail and payments.

The position reports to the Principal Administration Officer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drives and delivers external mail, Board packs, TTs and RTGs to clients
• Drives all staff and delegates for their assignments
• Distributes internal mail to staff
• Collects mail from the Post Office, sorts and delivers to staff
• Collects delegates to and from the airport
• Delivers overnight mail for regional offices to agencies
• Delivers external mail and Board packs to all clients
• Drives all staff for their assignments including the CEO’s office at times
• Cleans and maintains all pool vehicles
• Retest all new Bank drivers
• Delivers RTGS and TTs(banking)
• Assisting with workshop duties

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5 “O” Levels
• Clean Driver’s Licence (Class 1)
• Defensive Driving Certificate
• At least 5 years’ experience of effective driving.
• Previous working experience in the financial sector will be an added advantage
• A proven ability to communicate
