Warehouse Supervisor

<p>Main Duties</p> <ul> <li>Supervising the receipt of all packed stock for storage into warehouses</li> <li>Mobilising and utilisation of all available warehouse resources</li> <li>Ensuring that dispatches of packed stock are done in line with departmental procedures and customer instructions</li> <li>Ensuring good housekeeping is maintained at all times in and around warehouses</li> <li>Interpreting Shipping instructions and determining load dividends in line with departmental procedures and customer specifications</li> <li>Supervising and inspection of loading activities ensuring adherence to procedures and customer instructions</li> <li>Preparing for and ensuring all fumigation activities are carried out in line with procedures and safety protocols</li> </ul> <p>Job Knowledge required</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of Supply Chain Management best practices</li> <li>Knowledge of the tobacco shipment practices</li> </ul> <p>Job Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of MS Office packages and proficiency</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast paced environment</li> <li>Good written and oral communications skills</li> <li>Work with minimum supervision</li> <li>Able to work in a team environment</li> </ul> <p>Qualifications &amp; Experience</p> <ul> <li>Degree in Supply Chain Management</li> <li>A minimum of 3 years Logistics/Dispatch experience in a major exporting company</li> </ul>
