Head of Procurement

<ul style="list-style-type:square"> <li>Advising the Chief Executive Officer and the Procurement Management Unit on procurement and asset disposal matters</li> <li>Plans and oversees the procurement of goods and services for Procurement Entity in line with the procurement regulations</li> <li>Oversees the development of procurement contracts by liaising with user departments and legal department in contract drafting, negotiations and contract management, to ensure the entity has valid procurement contracts</li> <li>Develops and implements supplier evaluation program</li> <li>Prepares bid documents and contracts in compliance with the provisions of procurement regulations</li> <li>Coordinates bidding processes, including pre-bid meetings, clarifications and the receipt and opening of bids.</li> <li>Co-ordinates the evaluation of bids and any post-qualification negotiations required.</li> <li>Prepares contract documents and amendments.</li> <li>Liaise with the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe on procurement issues to ensure the Corporation adheres to the relevant statutes</li> <li>Prepares such procurement reports as may be required by the procuring entity&rsquo;s Accounting Officer or the Authority.</li> <li>Submits all evaluations to the Accounting Officer with confirmation that the procedure followed has compiled with the Act.</li> <li>Provides technical procurement guidance/support to line HEADs</li> <li>Stores Management</li> <li>Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual procurement reports</li> </ul>
