<ul> <li>Developing a procurement strategy for the Group adopting international best practices</li> <li>Developing/enhancing the procurement governance framework</li> <li>Ensuring that the procurement of goods and services is in line with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (Chapter 22.23).</li> <li>Managing the Procurement of goods and services from reputable suppliers.</li> <li>Developing and reviewing purchasing policies and procedures</li> <li>Establishing appropriate standards to ensure effective provision of best quality goods and services</li> <li>Negotiating business terms with contractors and suppliers</li> <li>Managing the tender process.</li> <li>Providing technical and commercial advice on procurement matters to the ZBFH Group</li> <li>Reviewing and evaluating supplier performance to ensure that the Group gets quality goods and services</li> <li>Approving payment of purchase orders</li> <li>Preparing Group budget for capital expenditure and monitoring compliance with set budget limits</li> <li>Managing staff performance, training and development</li> <li>Responsible for implementing the procurement policy</li> </ul>
